We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Individual Needs Assistant to join our support team to work with some of our children with SEN.

You will be providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs in our Early Years Foundation Stage enabling them to access the curriculum. Other responsibilities may include working with small groups, implementing personalised support plans, personal care, supporting communication and behaviour strategies, monitoring progress and recording observations and liaising with teachers and outside professionals.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience in supporting children with additional needs such as autism, speech, language and communication needs

• Knowledge of, and the ability to implement a range of strategies in order to keep the pupil motivated

• Understanding of SEND needs and has a commitment to inclusion within a mainstream setting

• Be able to work on own initiative following guidance from the SENDCO and class teacher

• Has excellent interpersonal skills and can build relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

• A calm, patient, resilient and flexible approach.

We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Breakfast Club Coordinator to lead our established Breakfast Club.

You will be creating a safe, welcoming environment for children before school whilst serving healthy breakfasts and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. You’ll need strong leadership skills to supervise and motivate a small team of assistants/play workers, alongside the ability to plan and deliver engaging play-based activities.

A paediatric first aid qualification is desirable but training can be provided.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a relevant childcare qualification or experience (experience with SEND would be beneficial)

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Be able to lead and motivate a team

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare

• Have excellent interpersonal skills and can build relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to assist in the day to day organisation of the out of school clubs and assist in the provision of quality play opportunities.

You will be supporting the Breakfast Club Coordinator to create a safe, welcoming environment for children where pupils can enjoy creative play and a healthy breakfast before school. You’ll prepare activities, serve refreshments, supervise children, and ensure a positive atmosphere, following the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.

A first aid qualification is desirable but training can be provided.

The successful candidate will:

• Be friendly, reliable, and enjoy working with children

• Preferably have relevant childcare experience (experience with SEND would be beneficial)

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare

• Have excellent interpersonal skills and can build relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

• Be able to implement positive behaviour strategies

• Be able to work well as part of a team
