Our School Vision

At Westfield School we aim to create well-rounded, self-motivated individuals who are healthy, confident, happy and achieve highly.  We will inspire children to develop a growth mindset and, in partnership with parents, build a supportive environment that enables growing confidence and good mental health and wellbeing for all.

At Westfield we:

  • Inspire learning through a creative, inclusive curriculum based on strong foundations in English and Maths
  • Create strong bonds between home, school and the community
  • Provide and promote a safe, healthy and secure environment that enables everyone to achieve their best
  • Nurture each other to embed tolerance and respect
  • Foster a culture that promotes new thinking and questioning
  • Prepare children for the life long journey of learning

“The views of many parents are reflected in the comment: ‘I think Westfield is a fantastic school. I am so pleased with how well they look after and teach my child there; the staff are warm and welcoming and the school itself really goes the extra mile to make sure learning is fun.'” (Ofsted March 2018)
